HELD CAPTIVE BY A MYSTERIOUS VOICE, SEVEN STRANGERS, DIVIDED BY PREJUDICE, MUST FIND A WAY TO WORK TOGETHER IF THEY HOPE TO SURVIVE A SERIES OF DEADLY GAMES.
After being a victim of police targeting and watching her partner get killed in front of her, Sgt. Robin Sole wakes up to find herself chained to the wall of a rundown industrial basement. She soon realizes she is not alone as six other strangers of different races are also trapped in the room.
It doesn’t take long for tensions to rise as the group begins to point fingers of blame towards one another. The group is soon interrupted by a mysterious Voice, who tells them they have all been chosen to play a series of games and that they must find a way to work together, or else, no one will make it out alive.
Robin tries to guide the group through the challenges but if the situation wasn’t bad enough, she also has to contend with a racist redneck named Mason Lee, a Mexican man named Arturo, who hates white police officers, and a hothead gang leader named Omar, who are constantly fighting with everyone in the room. Tensions continue to rise between the strangers as The Voice pushes them to their breaking point and beyond.
After one of the games nearly kills two of the strangers, the group begins to find common ground beneath their personal prejudices. They finally start working together and eventually find a way to escape their basement prison. However this is when the group learns that they have all been part of an elaborate social experiment that the Voice has been broadcasting to the world.
The Voice reveals herself to be Merka Kraut, the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and whose father the American Government killed during a peace rally. Merka wanted to prove that seven people who are filled with hate could find a way to put aside their racial differences and work together for a common goal.
